So here are a few tips on how teen boys can achieve concealed look to cover and soften acne without looking like they are wearing makeup and will look great on pictures. EnJoy! Note that at first, the products looks lighter, because on his skin, concealer and foundation oxidizes much darker. So at the end of the video (‘after’) you will see that it eventually adjusted to match his color. SO – make sure your concealer and foundation matches AFTER it oxidizes. Makeup Tips To Conceal Acne

While acne medication may promise results in just 7 days, you need to put your best face forward TODAY. Fortunately, you don’t have to wear a bag over your head. Instead just a few good acne concealing makeup tips will help you look your best wherever you need to go.

Remember — makeup only conceals acne, it doesn’t cure it. While concealing acne with makeup isn’t difficult, there are some definite procedures that you should always follow.

Your Basic Tool Kit

There are 3 acne-hiding makeup weapons — concealer, foundation and finishing powder. Be sure to use only brand names because you don’t want to trust your face to cut-rate products.

The key to success here is oil-free makeup, therefore read the labels carefully. You do NOT want to aggravate an existing acne problem by laying another coat of oil on skin that already has too much. Choose products that match your skin tone, and stick to those labeled hypoallergenic.

Before using any new product, it’s important to test the makeup by applying a small dab under your jaw to see if your skin reacts negatively. You’ll know in about an hour if there is a problem. You certainly don’t want to add more blotches to an already colorful face.

Before You Begin

Wash your face using a normal face cleansing product. Completely pat your face dry, apply your acne medication, and then let your face thoroughly air dry.

The Concealer

With a light dabbing motion, apply the concealer directly to any acne blotches on your skin. Blend in the concealer using a disposable sponge. Use the concealer sparingly — if applied too thickly, it will look terrible when it dries. You can always apply more later, if needed.

The Foundation

Use a light dabbing motion in applying the foundation. As with your concealer, use the foundation sparingly. With a sponge, blend the foundation and then reapply it if needed.

The Final Touch

Use a large makeup brush to apply a light layer of oil-free powder to take care of any shine that the acne concealer and foundation have left behind. It will also give your face an even and finished look.

Don’t forget to throw away those disposable sponges when you are through, so that you don’t transfer yesterday’s skin oil to tomorrow’s clean face!

Before You Go To Bed

It is best if you can remove your makeup as soon as you return home from school or work. You want your skin to breathe and your acne to get as much fresh air as possible.

Finally, before you go to bed wash your face thoroughly to remove every last trace of makeup. A thoroughly clean face will maximize the healing power of your sleep.

Makeup tips: How to create the model eyes look

As a makeup artist, I know that many young women would love to duplicate looks we create for many models. Professional makeup applications are done by professional makeup artist, but you can achieve the same looks without hiring your own makeup artist. You see “glam” eyes on the covers of magazines. The meticulous eye shadow application that makes the eyes pop.

The most popular “glam” eye shadow application is achieved with heavy black eye liner with a touch of glitter. You can achieve this same look for without having to invest in expensive makeup and if you are a mineral makeup wearer, this will also work for you.

I recommend you try using products that are good for you skin. To achieve the glam eyes look you will need a black eye liner (try a botanical, chemical-free one), black eye shadow (mineral eye shadow works great), foundation or concealer (again, mineral products work wonders) and glitter. You will also need some cosmetic sponges and eye shadow brush.

Once you have all your tools, it’s time to get started. First, you will want to apply some foundation or concealer to your eye lids using a makeup sponge or brush. You may want to use a mineral foundation or mineral concealer, as these are non-creasing and water resistant. After you have applied the foundation or concealer to your eye, allow it to dry and adhere to your eyes for a minute. Now you will take your eye liner pencil and you want to start applying it to the lower lid. You will apply this as if it were an eye shadow, all over your lower lid. Smooth it out with your finder or a clean cosmetic sponge.

Let your eye liner dry for a minute. Next, you will apply black eye shadow over the lower lid in the same area where you applied the eye liner. Sweep away any excess powder. Now for the messy party, you will apply glitter to your lower eye lid. You must be careful not to get this in your eyes as it can be irritating.

Dip your brush or your finger into the glitter. Sweep your brush across your lid or rub your finger which has been dipped in glitter over your eye lid; the same area where you just applied the eye liner and eye shadow. To clean up glitter messes from your face, you will want to use tissue to dab on your face and pick up excess glitter.

Once you have completed your glitter application, you can now apply black eye liner to your top and bottom lash. Do not apply eye liner to your lower lid as it will make your eyes look small and sleepy. A very light shade of eye shadow may be applied to the brow line to accent your new fabulous glam eyes.

If you are ready to experiment and are interested in using mineral makeup, you may visit www.beautifuldiva.com to purchase products mentioned in this article. Good Luck!
