Makeup tips for perfect eyebrows
How to achieve perfect eyebrows?
It’s amazing how such a seemingly small part of the face makes such a difference in how we perceive a person’s facial expressions and also their whole make-up look. A well-defined pair of eyebrows are super important for completing the perfect makeup look. Sometimes even just defining the eyebrows is all you need before you go out to your long day of work.
There are many kinds of eyebrows out there, in all shapes and colors, and once you had your eyebrows styled or tweezed to your liking, this is where the make-up products for the brows step in.
First, you have to understand what your eyebrows need.
If your eyebrows are full or even bushy, you probably won’t need to fill them in, but rather need to style them and keep them tamed from becoming messy throughout the day.
There are several products that are made just for this job, styling the brow and keeping them in place. These products are usually mascara shaped wands with either clear gel or brow shade gel that help style and stick the wayward hairs in place.
Some of my fav’s:
Now, if you were not blessed with bushy brows or your brows have dwindled with age, you will probably need to fill out the brows in order to define their shape and enhance their shade if necessary. I’ve found that the way to choose The right shade for brows is finding a tone that is close to your natural brow and the undertone should be on the mousy gray side rather than red undertones. It just blends better with the brow.
Filling out the brows can be done in several ways:
Filling out the brow with a brow powder shadow or gel using an angular brush:
With Powder shadow:
Just take a bit of product on the brush. Tap the brush once or twice to remove excess powder and fill in the brows following the growth direction of the brow hairs making it look natural.
With brow gel:
Just take a bit of product on the brush. Swipe the brush on the back of your hand to remove excess product and fill in the brows following the growth direction of the brow hairs making it look natural. If you feel that you put too much gel in a certain area just dab with your finger or makeup sponge until you reach the right density.
Filling out the brow with a brow pencil
Just as with the powder, follow the growth direction of the brow hairs with the brow pencil. If you feel that you have drawn the line too harshly, just use your finger quickly to soften the line before it sets.
Brow pencils for the job:
Once you finished filling in the brows you can now style the brow with the products mentioned above such as soap for the brows or gel mascara for the brows, and you have now got the flawless frame for your eyes giving you the perfectly defined beauty look.
You can complete the look with some perfect lashes as well.
